Yard work from the kid down the street, with the paperwork handled.
Post a mow, a leaf pile or a snowy driveway. Someone nearby picks it up: a teenager with a parent's OK, a college student, a retiree. You set the price, and your payment is held until you approve the work.

Get the yard done.
Post in five minutes. Pick from people nearby. Pay when you're happy.
How posting works →Earn close to home.
Jobs inside the area you draw, with the price and the yard up front.
How finding work works →Say yes to every job.
Your teen works; you see each job and approve it first.
How guardian approval works →Draw it once. Nobody has to guess.
Trace the work on a satellite view of your yard and pin the hazards: the sprinkler heads, the soft spot, the dog run. That outline is the job, so what you get is what you asked for.
- Set a price, or take bids. Say what you'll provide, like the mower, bags or gas.
- Hazards get walked first. The worker photographs every pin before the Start button unlocks.
- Before and after photos on every job, side by side on your phone.

Pick from people you can actually check.
Everyone who responds shows up with their verification, star rating, reliability and reviews from neighbors. Your card is charged when you pick someone, and the money is held until you approve the work.
- Background checked means a Washington criminal history and sex offender registry search, not just an email address.
- Reliability is the share of jobs that went as agreed, so a no-show shows.
- 72 hours to approve or dispute. If you say nothing, the job is approved and the worker is paid.

Yard work close to home, with the price up front.
Draw the neighborhoods you'll travel to. You only hear about jobs inside them, and every card shows the yard size, the dates and what you'll take home.
- See the yard before you commit: the outline, the hazards and who brings the equipment.
- Your price shows after fees. "You get $36" means $36.
- The money is already there. It's charged before you show up and released when the homeowner approves.

Your teen does the work. You approve every job.
Workers can start at 14 with a verified parent or guardian linked. When your teen taps Accept or sends a bid, it comes to you first, with the job, the pay, the time and the homeowner's background check.
- You set the hours. Weekends and after 3 pm by default.
- Payouts go to your account, and you can pause their profile with one tap.
- Every homeowner is background-checked, and every address is checked against the sex offender registry.

You set the price. We take 10% from each side.
No subscriptions, no minimums, nothing to post. Every way a job can go, whether cancelled, rained out or turned away at a locked gate, has its outcome set in advance, and the app shows you the exact amount before you tap.
For yards that don't need a landscaping company.
A professional crew is more than most yards need, and a stranger from a neighborhood post is a guess. YardHound sits in between.

Workers on YardHound are independent people, often teenagers, not licensed professionals. For trees, irrigation repair or anything that needs a license, hire a pro.
Be first in your neighborhood.
We're opening in the Spokane area first, one neighborhood at a time, so there are workers wherever there are jobs. Leave your email and we'll tell you when YardHound is ready near you.
